The Epilepsy Center of Northwest Ohio is seeking caring, reliable individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). You'll empower people with developmental and intellectual disabilities to achieve their goals, gain independence, and thrive at home and in the community.

Pay: $17.00 per hour, (sleep shifts $13.00 per hour)
Locations: Lucas and Wood County
Available Schedules: Part-Time - Weekends shifts and one day a week
Anticipated Hours: 12-20 hours - 2nd & 3rd shifts (sleep & awake)
Responsibilities include assisting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities live their best lives:
- Provide respectful, person-centered support in daily living tasks
- Assist with personal care: ambulation, bathing, grooming, toileting, etc.
- Engage individuals in social, recreational, and community activities
- Prepare meals, cleaning, laundry, and household tasks
- Transport individuals safely to appointments or social outings
- Encourage personal growth and achievement of goals
- Accurately document activities, incidents, and client progress
- Communicate professionally with team members, families, and clients
- Participate in required paid training and team meetings
Qualifications you need to thrive in this role:
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (fewer than 6 points)
- Proof of auto insurance
- Ability to pass BCI/FBI background checks and required screenings
